No. Never. 100% leather soles are often stronger than rubber soles. I've been living in the brown pair I have now and have worn them across Rome, Cambodia, Czeck, Bangkok, and Bahrain. I wear them every day and the soles are still solid and strong. I also design my sandals with more layers of leather than most sandal designers.

Yes, for a minute. SandCruisers are made in a traditional construction of several layers of solid leather soles. They will be harder than cushy sandals you've been wearing at first, however, SandCruisers over time will soften and shape to your foot in a way that synthetic materials aren't capable of. Keep wearing your SandCruisers, break them in and they will be the most comfortable sandals you've ever owned in the end. Trust me. Even if you have high arches, the leather will mold to your arch. You will see.

My workshop has a slow turn around. I have one employee who traces each pattern piece out by hand, hand cuts each piece of leather with scissors and hand stitches each piece of leather. You can imagine it takes months to get an order or reorder in. And remember, all of my designs are unique and different, so that complicates production. Believe me, it's just as frustrating for me as it is for you! I lose a lot of sales because I don't have sizes. That's why I advise customers to not wait. If I have your size, buy it. I won't have it for long. But if I am sold out of your size and you really want a pair, message me and that puts you at the top of my list when I get my production in. I never forget a customer who took the time to reach out.

I used to work exclusively with a workshop outside of Jeddah. I've been in business for many years now and I now have my own workshop. You will see how my designs have become more intricate lately and I'm doing new things that I never did before like the argyle designs and the crystal designs. I still work with my old factory if we are backed up in my workshop, but now we do most of the production ourselves. My partner in Jeddah aslo owns a workshop in Pakistan and sometimes he brings the sandals over in what we call in the shoe business "componets". For example, the leather uppers he might have cut, sewn and embroidered at his workshop in Pakistan, however the final assembly is done in Arabia.
